This piece of art depicts the life of people in
villages, occupations and culture
The top square shows 2 villagers dancing and
playing music. The man is playing the indian drum called the dholak while the
women are dancing to the rhythm. This portrays either a festive mood or just
plain enjoyment.
The centre circular pane shows a couple growing
plants. The basic culture of India was environmental friendly and that of
mutual co-existence.
The bottom square shows villagers going fishing.
The man is following the ladies who are walking in front is carrying fish on
their heads. Fishing is another occupation of the villagers and their
livelihood.
