This piece of art is a typical scene of villagers
dancing and playing music. There are 2 panes, both depicting the same. The men
are playing the horn while the women are dancing to the tunes. This portrays
either a festive mood or just plain enjoyment. While both the panes depict the
same mood, there are minor differences in the figurines. The borders are simple
and have some figurines drawn around the piece that are very similar to the
Worli paintings but a notable difference is that these figures have more
proportionate bodies and limbs. This art form is primitive yet simple and that
is quite a preferred choice.
